961 Porter

961 Beer began crafting micro brews in 2006 as the first microbrewery in Lebanon; bringing a slew of new beer to the market. Their English-style porter pours an opaque dark chocolate brown color with a thin tan head. The aroma is comprised of toasted malts and a burnt caramel quality. The taste is smooth and balanced with flavors of a dark roast coffee and a stone fruit sweetness. This is one of those beers that looks heavier than it tastes. This extremely drinkable porter pairs well with kebabs or most grilled meats. Enjoy!
