Bischoff Premium Black Lager

As the name implies, this lager is quite dark in color resembling black coffee. The beige head is thick on the pour, but quickly fizzes out. Despite the visual dark qualities of this lager, it’s surprisingly light and drinkable. The aroma is bright with herbal/grassy hops and citrus acidity. As the beer warms the malt flavors become more pronounced. On the palate, citrus notes intermix a bready yeast quality with a sweet molasses malt flavor. This medium-bodied brew is delicious on its own, but can be enjoyed with a number of barbecued dishes.
