Hacker-Pschorr Weisse by Hacker-Pschorr Bräu

Hefeweizen beers offer great drink-ability and I’m always excited to try one when they come in my beer shipment. As expected, this hef pours a hazy orange color with a frothy off-white head due to the carbonation. The aroma is comprised of banana, bready yeast and spicy hops. The hint of banana flavor hangs on until it meets some citrus tang in the finish. Hacker-Pschorr created a balanced mix of wheat barley and barley malt resulting in a play between sweet and tart. Pair this weisse with seafood dishes or just enjoy it on its own.
